Families Without Borders identified that impoverished communities can be transformed when local youth are trusted, supported and prepared to do the work. We strongly believe the key to building communities and breaking the cycle of poverty is to invest in the education of youth and to guide them to build their own communities from within. Poverty eradication does not just happen through education, empowerment, food or health care alone; it is through taking a holistic approach and trusting in the potential of people. It is seeing humanity as one, and it is seeing the needs of every human being as the need for all.
